About The Art

What is art? Art is a simulation (manifested in many ways) of feelings, and ideas, which is used as a tool to elicit, inspire, and create those feelings, expressions, and ideas in an audience. In this case, you are the audience. Some might say that without an active audience — art would not exist.

Art is the process (and end result) of deliberately arranging a variety of elements (including paint) in a way that appeals to our senses and emotions. It encompasses an incredibly diverse range of activities, creations, and modes of expression, including music, literature, film, sculpture, and of course... watercolor paintings.

One of the truly amazing attritubes of this process, is that no two pieces can be identical. And as we've all heard, art is certainly in the eye of the beholder.

Ginny Wagner's watercolors are a style of painting in which the paints are made of pigments suspended in a water soluble vehicle. Ginny's paintings are sold framed and unframed; matted and unmatted — the choice belongs to the painting's new owner. She works with each individual owner to determine their needs.
