About Ginny Wagner
Ginny Wagner is a North Carolina native and truly enjoys Kure Beach and its surrounding areas. Her passion for art began at an early age and she has been painting ever since. She taught elementary school in Guilford County for twenty-nine years and after her retirement — she decided to return to her long-time passion of art. At that time, she started painting in watercolor. Ginny now specializes in a wide variety of subjects including house portraits, landscapes, children and pet portraits.
Ginny is a member of a variety of organizations and associations and believes in the promotion of the arts. Ginny is a proud member of the following organizations:
Ginny chooses watercolors as her vehicle to inspire feelings in her audience. This is simply because she finds watercolors to be an illuminating expression of herself. The diversity is truly amazing to her. She is able to create a hundred shades of blue — from just 2 paints. She is also able to adapt and redirect her expression as each piece is being created. Watercolors offer a distinct advantage as their versitility allows for creativity to grow as artwork is being created.
